LJ TRES AGAVES ANEJO SINGLE BARREL 750ML 1P

Tres Agaves tequila aged for 18 months, exclusively in ex-bourbon barrels from Four Roses. The distillery and its tequila is certified organic by the USDA.

Nose: caramel note, along with aromas of baked apple and pear, citrus, some vanilla and a hint of white flowers.

Palate: fruity sweetness, followed by notes of caramel, vanilla, lemon grass, a bit of cherry, along with some cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and pepper.

Finish: drinks much lower than its proof. shows the influence of 18 months of oak aging. The finish is long, slightly smoky, with lingering sweet fruit and honey notes.

Finish - Citrus fruits hang on for a long satisfying finish with very little peppery notes you would expect from a rye. The cognac finish really stands out for a fantastic sipper.
